Research associate Gretchen "Ricky" Richter is passionate about making environmental policy more equitable. She brings hands-on experience in community-centered environmental work, including urban forestry, grant analysis, and GIS. She’s especially interested in how how policy and funding shape opportunities for communities—and how making these systems more accessible and responsive leads to fairer, more impactful outcomes.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Geography with a concentration in Development Justice from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
