James Kunetz

Research Associate/ Marine Scientist

James Kunetz is a research associate with a background in natural science, outdoor education, and theater arts. He is interested in the working relationship between anthropogenic activities and the natural world, as well as how complex ideas can be adapted for a broader audience. James has a passion for community development and enjoys working on and leading projects that incorporate community input and sustainability.

James earned his bachelor’s degrees in oceanography and drama at the University of Washington.
