Rabia Ahmed is an environmental and development economist with over 17 years of experience internationally in community and social assessment, policy and regulatory economics, economic modeling, public outreach, survey design and analysis, water and natural resource economics, and litigation support. ​

​

She is currently serving as President-Elect of the American Water Resources Association (National); President of Women in Environment; and Board Member of the American Water Resources Association—Washington Section. 

​

She earned a Master’s degree in Economics from Portland State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from Punjab University, Pakistan.
